All applicants must meet the following pre-requisite criteria in order to be considered for;
* National Certificate in Security Level 3
* Certificate in Investigative Skills
Applicants should preferably be 18 years of age or over on entry or reach the age criteria specification in the duration of the course to be eligible for a COA.
Although there are no qualification pre-requisites, the applicant must be capable of displaying the required level of academic ability that is necessary to undertake the course content.
A reasonable level of fitness is required for the National Certificate in Security.
Applicants should be eligible for a Certificate of Approval.
Students’ undertake a “Pre-Training Criminal History Check” and an application for a COA license is made for all graduating security students. A criminal history does not preclude a student from enrolling on a course, but may affect a job placement.
